HISTORY TIMELINE

2002

Etablished as Balkan Medical Center for distribution of many worldwide manufacturers in the medical sector with headquarters in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, started as authorized representative for 10 world known medical brands.

2003

Awards for introduction new innovative medical equipment on the Macedonian market.

2005

High-tech equipped service department with special tools for solving complicated problems.

2008

Bi- MEK has implemented the International ISO 9001:2015 Standard for Quality Management.

2010

Signing a contract with the Ministry of Health for equipping a significant amount of medical equipment in 40 hospitals across the country.

2010/16

Bi-MEK received a Certificate of Appreciation for a socially responsible company in 2011 and award for a social responsible company in 2016.

2014

2016

Bi-MEK received award Golden Coin for Fast developing small and medium enterprise from Macedonian Chambers of Commerce.

Bi-MEK won the project-“ Supply of medical equipment in support for effective response to the migrant crisis“ , equipping two cross-border hospitals in Gevgelija and Kumanovo.

2018

Bi-MEK has implemented the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management system.

2019/20

Bi-MEK participated in the project “Heart safe cities” – for medical equipment and vehicles – PHI Health Center – Ohrid and PHI Special Hospital for Cardiology St. Stefan Ohrid.

2021

Bi-MEK participated in the Project supported by the Delegation of the European Union for procurement of equipment for response to health threats 2021/22 including installation of 5 computer tomography devices and 3 devices for magnet resonance.

2022

Bi-MEK is subcontractor of a big project supported by the World bank for procurement of medical equipment in our country including installation of 2 angiographs, 7 x-rays systems and 13 ultrasounds systems.

2023

Bi-MEK has implemented the international standard ISO 13485:2016 for Quality management of medical device.
